How it works

The tool walks the calendar days from the start date to the end date, both included, and counts which are Saturday or Sunday.

Examples

• From Thursday, January 1 to Sunday, January 4, 2026, there are 2 weekend days (Saturday and Sunday).
• From a Thursday to a Friday with no weekend between, the count is 0.
