Frequently asked questions
How is the unpaid break handled?
Enter the break length in minutes (0 to 720). The page subtracts the break from the elapsed time to produce worked hours.
What if I forget to enter a break?
The break defaults to 0 minutes, so the worked time equals the elapsed time. Adjust the break field to subtract unpaid time.
When does the next-day option appear?
It appears when the end time is earlier than the start time, or when start and end are equal and you want a 24-hour interval.
Does this include paid breaks?
No. Only the unpaid break is subtracted. If you take a paid break, leave the break value at 0.
